AMI membership provides credits to download materials. You can purchase a 1-year membership or Life membership. Students on AMI Diploma courses are required to hold  membership for the duration of their course, after which they are invited to join directly to continue their membership and access to their downloaded materials. Some AMI Affiliated Societies offer collective memberships. After your membership has been confirmed, you can log into this site and can see your credit status from your Dashboard. You can then download materials to the accrued value of those credits. Different materials hold different credit weights and your credit balance will be displayed as you download materials and on your Dashboard. AMI members also have access to the screen version of the Classified Cards, which can be used unlimited times.

Credits are assigned upon payment of the membership fee. You can purchase a membership to renew the full amount of credits. Note that membership renewal resets the membership joining date to the renewed/payment date and corresponding expiry date (1 year from the payment date for 1 year membership).

Credits are valid for the duration of the membership period. Digital materials that have been accessed via your credits during this period are available for the duration of this period. When your membership has expired, access to these materials expires. When a membership is renewed, access to all previously downloaded digital materials is restored.

Firstly, check that you hold current AMI membership. Enquiries may be sent using the Contact Us form. Then, check that your membership is with AMI and not a different Montessori organisation. Below is a list of AMI Affiliated Societies that offer collective AMI membership. If your membership is not with AMI or any of these, you likely do not hold AMI membership.

The materials cover a range of Montessori areas, including Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, and Cultural subjects to support children initially from 3 to 12 years of age (to be expanded for all ages). These mainly cover Timelines, Nomenclature, Classified Cards, printed consumables and language materials.

Yes, all materials are created in accordance with Montessori principles and are reviewed and authorised by the Association Montessori Internationale.

In keeping with AMI’s mission to fulfil the rights of children and adults around the world to have access to nurturing, developmentally appropriate, educational environments, our aim is to offer a continuously expanding suite of inclusive, diversely rich materials. As Montessorians, we recognise the importance of responding to the individual needs of the child, so specific requests for translations or new materials is welcome. For the Classified Cards, we offer print, script and cursive font types. We have worked with culturally and linguistically diverse volunteers to determine the most appropriate fonts to be used in their classrooms.

While some materials are offered for use in the home environment, the majority of materials are targeted for the classroom to support trained Montessori educators. It is therefore assumed that those using the materials have undertaken Montessori training.  If you are interested in Montessori training, visit our main website for details on options.

All files on AMI Digital are set to allow printing but prevent artwork modifications. The downloads should print correctly without issues. If a professional printing company needs to adjust the artwork for printing requirements, please contact us via the Contact Us page to request the password for print modifications.

AMI Digital resources are available in both international and US paper sizes. If the artwork is cut off during printing, first ensure you have downloaded the correct paper size. Note that a bordered edge may not print unless you select a borderless paper size option. In either case the artwork allows for normal page margins. If you continue to experience issues, try selecting the "Scale to fit" option in your printer settings.
